Once a Year, on Christmas, I See My Family
I look forward to the 6-7 hour drive up north with my companions. This year, I bought a car diffuser/nebulizer and some Ningxia NITRO to help keep me awake around the 5-6 hour. I’m also bringing a few CDs to listen to. My newest and current favorite is called Peace for You at Christmas by Theresa Griffith.
Oh my word is this CD fabulous! The first time I played it and tried to sing along, my vocal cords didn’t give me any problems. I actually could sing with strength.
I haven’t been able to sing for 6 years due to vocal cord damage, however, not when Theresa’s music is playing.
I’m also bringing some teaching CDs about business from Wayne Grudem, and a worship CD by Rebekah Van Tinteren. I might have revival breaking out in my car when I pop Rebekah in. The anointing on her voice is … glorious.
I also have a new companion to take with me on the drive, her name is Bella-boo. She is 2 years old, blond hair, and feisty as a girl Chihuahua can be. My little Rocky (balboa) may have to set some boundaries with her, since this will be her first road trip (that is, safe inside a car).
She was found running around an empty parking lot looking a bit malnourished when she was found. Who knows how long she was wondering on the streets by herself. Poor thing.
Well, as I write this blog on a cold windy December eve, my heart is full of anticipation to see my family, split a gut laughing hysterically playing the game grab bag, and eat scrumptious foods.
What are you plans for the holidays? Would love to hear.
